How do I access library resources off campus?

When you select a database off campus it will ask you to login. Use your Ozarks email and password (same as checking your email or logging into Canvas) and this will give you access to resources off campus. 

How do I connect to the Wi-Fi?

If you are using your iPad use this page to troubleshoot. 

If you are on a laptop you should have a Wi-Fi symbol on the bottom right hand corner. Select the UofO network and use your Ozarks login credentials (same username as email without the @ozarks.edu and same password). You will be connected to the network. If you have trouble see the IT Helpdesk located on the first floor of Robson Library.

How do I find a book?

To find a book in our catalog you can search by keyword, title, or author (last name, first name).

If we do not have the book and you would like to request it through Interlibrary Loan please fill out the ILL Webform.

How do I find scholarly and peer-reviewed articles?

You can use the discovery search bar at the top of each page or select a database and search from a specific database. In each database you have the ability to do an advanced search and select "peer-reviewed" from the left hand side of the database filters. 

If you need assistance please feel free to ask us for help. Anyone staffing the desk can help and if you want to schedule one-on-one time with a librarian you can do so through our book-a-librarian feature.

How do I print in Robson Library?

In order to print you must log into one of our patron computers located to the left of the circulation desk. Use your Ozarks login to gain access. 

When you print you must select the library printer (there are signs located next to each computer to assist you).

Print limits are as follows:

  • 50 pages per print job (if you have more you must print pages 1-49, then 50-99.
  • 100 pages per day
  • 300 pages per month

The Robson Library staff does not have any control over print limits and cannot override them. Please see the IT help desk if you are experience printing trouble. 
 

How long can I keep an item?

Books

Books are checked out to you for 14 days. If you need to renew an item to keep it longer you may bring it in to the circulation desk and ask to renew it for another 14 days.

DVD's

DVD's are checked out for 3 days at a time.

Reserve/Reference Materials

Reserve and reference materials are to be used within the library. If you need to make copies of pages to take with you, the printer also serves as a scanner. Library staff will be happy to assist you.
