Computer Use, Printing, and Scanning

Policies

Library Computer Stations

Robson Library provides 11 desktop PCs for student, faculty, and staff use with printing capability. Use your email credentials to logon. Local residents are not permitted to use these computers nor are they allowed to print.

There are three computers adjacent to the Circulation Desk that anyone may use. They are designed for library research.

All patrons are expected to comply with the “University’s Acceptable Use Policy for Computer and Network Practices”: https://eaglenet.ozarks.edu/account/acceptableusepolicy.aspx

Printing

Student Printing Limits

  • Job limit – 50 pages (to print more, print page 1-49, then 50-99)
  • Daily limit – 100 pages
  • Monthly limit – 300 pages
  • If you have exceeded these limits, you will have to see someone in IT

Printer/Photocopier

A printer/photocopier is located in the printing room to the right of the Circulation Desk. If you do not know how to use the photocopier, please ask a library staff member. They will be happy to show you.

iPads are not currently set up to print on campus.

PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO ADJUST THE PRINTER’S SETTINGS TO TRY TO PRINT. IT WILL NOT WORK.

There are 11 computers on the other side of the Circulation Desk that are networked to the printer. PLEASE FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS NEXT TO EACH COMPUTER ON HOW TO PRINT.

A Printer is located in the printing room to the right of the Circulation Desk.

After Hours and Printer Not Working Here?

Let staff know AND put in an IT help request on Ozarks EagleNET (https://eaglenet.ozarks.edu/).

There is another printer located in the 24 Hour Computer Lab on the first floor. If it is out of paper, please put in an IT help request.

Internet Access

Wi-Fi is available throughout the building. The public may access the University’s guest Wi-Fi. Users will be sent a code to their smart phone to complete access to the Wi-Fi.
