Checking out materials
To check out library materials, please present your university ID card. University IDs are issued to all Ozarks faculty, staff, and students. Residents of Johnson County may also obtain ID cards at the Student Life Office, which may be used to check out up to 5 books at one time (limits may be waived at the librarians' discretion).
Loan Period
The loan period for books is two weeks. Items can usually be renewed unless someone else has requested them.
Most periodicals, reserve materials, reference books, and non-print items do not circulate out of the library.
Fines
The library does not charge fines for overdue materials. If a student loses or refuses to return an item when the library asks for its return, then the Business Office will charge the student’s account for the replacement of that item (and a nonrefundable processing fee of $10).
Reserved Materials
Faculty may place personal items as well as Robson Library's holdings on reserve for their courses. To place materials on reserve, contact Doug Denne by email at ddenne@ozarks.edu or by telephone at (479) 979-1382.
To find materials that have been placed on reserve for a course reserves in the online catalog.
